My first name in Sino-Vietnamese (Thư) means ‘books’ which encapsulates the love for books that my parents wished to cultivate in me. And I have to admit that their wish has manifested successfully. Since my dad gave me the very first items in my book collection including A Home In The Grasslands by Ly Lan and the anthology Treasure of Vietnamese Old Folk Tales by Prof. Nguyen Dong Chi of Vietnamese when I was 5 years old, I have been in love with books and anything connected with them ever since, from libraries to bookstores, and even the job of a librarian.
During my university life, I have written some online articles to express and spread my love for books. You can see their Vietnamese version here. I will translate them into English in the future.
